If you are new to the rental property market, it can be challenging to decide on the best colour to redecorate with.  Here are a few tips to help you on your way.

Bright and bold might be your cup of tea; however, bright might not be the best choice when trying to attract tenants.  Colours like red and orange can make people feel anxious or angry. 

Most landlords depend on neutral colours as they appeal to more people.  Grays, tans and creams are recommended for rental properties with slightly darker shades of these colours in the dining room or bathroom.

Pure white walls do not appeal to tenants, and it is bland and can show every spec of dirt!  It is best to go with colours that are less likely to show the dirt or are easily repainted if needed.

Sometimes it is better to invest in good quality paint to get the best finish possible.
